Your vote is critical for your voice being heard! Our last election resulted in only about 10% of eligible Harrisburg residents voting.

Register to Vote / Check Voter Registration
The Voter deadline to register in North Carolina is 25 days before the day of the election (October 10, 2025). The Cabarrus County Board of Elections provides the following webpages:

Absentee Voting
All registered voters may request a ballot to be mailed to them. You must submit a different absentee ballot request form for every election. The federal Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) also allows overseas and military voters the option to have their ballots emailed to them.

Cabarrus County Board of Elections Office begins mailing absentee ballots - October 3, 2025

Last day to request an absentee ballot - Tuesday, October 21 at 5:00 pm

All absentee by mail ballots must be received at the Board of Elections Office (369 Church Street N, Concord) by 7:30 pm on November 4, 2025
