My opponent recently stated that “we” lowered taxes. That statement does not align with the facts.
Tax bills are public records and can be viewed directly at:🔗 https://tax.cabarruscounty.us/TaxBill.aspx
Here’s a snapshot of one random Harrisburg tax bill:
2021: $4,958
2025: $7,491
That’s an INCREASE of 51% in just four years.

Unprecedented Revenue Growth
Over just a four-year period, the amount of tax revenue collected and spent in Harrisburg increased by 111% — the highest in Harrisburg’s history.
Our population and housing did not double during that time, yet the amount of tax dollars collected did. That’s a clear sign we need stronger financial oversight and better prioritization of spending.
Wants vs. Needs
Recently, the current council discussed:
Spending over $3 million on new park space, and
Another $3 million+ to expand Town Hall.
With slowed growth, we must ask:
Are these projects wants or needs?
Residents deserve to be part of that decision. I believe in transparency, fiscal responsibility, and direct community input before committing millions more in taxpayer funds.
